I just thought I may as well introduce myself...

Howdy.. my name is Tim.

I stumbled upon this site, and I'm excited to see there are so many people interested in LDs. I have had two LDs, but each time I've become awake immediately after realizing it. The most recent one, I had a false awakening.

I'm pretty excited about all of this, as only 5 months ago I had NO dream recall at all. I would recall maybe 1 dream every 2 years. This is because when I was knee-high-to-a-grasshopper I was so afraid of nightmares I conciously trained myself not to dream entirely.

a little about myself:

I'm a bit of a hippie. I am a college student at University of Victoria. My interests include bass, abducting religious figures ( http://www.jabwacn.20m.com/jesus.html ), playing drunken bocce, and cafeteria food art.

Among the many unintelligent things I've done include:
1: Swallowing a mini-bic lighter (sober)
2: Attempting to throw up said mini-bic lighter ( just not gonna happen)
3: Making orange juice out of gravity bong water ("I mean, we can't waste the water, right?" :P )


I'm would love to be adopted, PM me if you're interested.

Anyhoo, welcome! You'll get all the help/info you need here. I'd suggest posting something in the adoptions forum or looking up some adopters' profiles.

Yeah, I was planning on writting a request to be adopted.. but as I'm posting from work I ran out of time. I'll do that now.

Yeah, I've had a dream journal since April.

Although I have had 2 LD's, I haven't particularly been *trying* to have them, just they happened since I've been reading about Lucid Dreaming (Leberge, Garfeild, Moss). Leberge mentions MILD and WILD, but I thought I'd check out online resources to see what else is out there...

Dreaming has been hard since I've been working from 10am-6:30 pm... It's hard to get a good day's sleep. :P

Hey if you can Look through the "Looking for a Newb to adop" thread first and see if there's anyone you like. I Gaurantee you that you WILL get adopted faster compared to posting in the "adopt me" thread
