Thread: First lucid, thanks DV!

Yipee! As the topic name suggests, I had my first lucid dream about an hour ago. It was short and wasn't incredibly vivid, but now I definately know what I am looking for and am excited at the progress!

Well, here is the story of my night: Firstly, I decided to use the BA technique (http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=45387) if I woke up. So halfway through the night, I woke up and began to give it a go. I began to get intense HI and side effects of SP. I had this noise in my ears that scared me, and when I realised it was normal, didnt scare me, but then I forgot not to be scared, and it scared me again on and off.
If anyone is a drummer like me or goes to loud concerts and gets loud ear-ringing afterwards, it was like that...times 10.

Anyway, I fell asleep and began to dream, but forgot to become lucid. I had a dream that me and three of my friends were walking in a shopping centre, and we decided to rob a store. It was a video games store, and I caught the grills the man inside was lowering (it was closing time) just as he was leaving. He stepped back and allowed us in.
Me and my friends drew out our mobile phones and held them like guns and yelled at the guy there: "Stay the fuck on the ground while we do our business".
I began looking around the store for Grand Theft Auto IV for playstation, a game I really liked. I could, however, only find it for X-box.
Meanwhile, the store mananger dude was crying on the ground, saying: "Don't hurt me! Don't steal stuff! My boss will kill me!"
I suddenly felt really bad for him and walked up to him and said: "Nah man we were just kidding, we werent actually going to steal anything, its all a big joke " (Two of my friends put stuff back on the shelves while another kept stealing stuff anyway).
He cried out in relief and said: "Oh thank god! Haha you got me!"
We all walked out of the store, and I looked across at my third friend who had been continuing to steal stuff. He showed me inside his jacket he had a 12-part educational video game, which made me like wtf.
We walked up to my fourth friend who had been keeping guard outside and he said: "Oh my God you guys are pussies".

The dream then RESTARTED, but this time it was just me entering the store, and the store was full of Lord of the Rings merchandise . I realised that there was nothing I really wanted to steal there anyway, so I walked out and outside the shopping centre.
I stopped just as I left and thought: "Wtf...I just did this a couple of minutes ago..." (At this time I didn't realise that the LAST time was a dream either).

I saw a group of bogans standing over near the road with an asian dude with a HUGE coat on... and thought I might as well have a reality check, this is weirding me out. I grabbed my nose and...BEHOLD! I could still breath through it! I got a little excited, but then became strangely calm. Firstly I observed how REAL everything was. Although the dream was a little fuzzy, I could FEEL myself standing on the ground and I could FEEL the weight of my body on my legs.
I jumped up into the air (I had a little doubt, I thought maybe I WASN'T dreaming for a second, but then I realised that even if it wasn't, i'm the type of guy to make an idiot of himself and public anyway and I didn't really care) and began to fly outside of the overhanging part of the shopping centre.
I yelled down at the bogans loitering at the edge of the overhang: "Oi check this out!" And flew higher.
One of them yelled back: "Eeeh fuck you c*nt!"
I just lol'ed, and flew up towards a tree, intended to spiral around it. Instead, however, I got stuck in the branches, and had to fight my way down.
I landed on the pavement, and saw a car driving past, and flew through its window for some reason.
I willed there to be 5 beautiful ladies in there, when I got there, there were 4 beautiful ladies and some random guy. I thought to myself: "Piss off this is my dream! I can do whatever the hell I want!" And transformed the guy into yet another beautiful lady.
I was feeling pretty pimped out, and said: "Ayyyyy" like the Fonz.
I woke up. Goddamnit

Anyway yeah, thats my lucid, I have had semi lucids before but nothing of this scale of lucidity, so thankyou to DV and its community for helping me out , looking forward to having more in the future.
