:welcome: to DV Scar!! :D
The Tutorial Section and Attaining Lucidity section will help you on your way to inducing an LD. Also feel free to PM me or any of the other Dream Guides with any questions you might have. :)
It's great to see that people here are so friendly and eager to help.:D
I've been looking over the tutorials today but it's all quite confusing. I really don't have much of an idea of where to start at. If you could give me an idea of what to do first I would love that.
Sure! That's why I'm here. :)
This is where I play the Interrogation game. Question time! :D
1) Do you keep a Dream Journal?
2) Do you perform Reality checks?
3) How is your Dream Recall?
1) No, I do not, though I have been considering it greatly since I hear they are very helpful.
2) Yes, I do for the most part.
3) It's hard to tell since I have nothing to compare to, but I can remember dreams two or three times a week. Occasianally I will remember a dream very vividly.
Excellent. :)
Starting a DJ is one of, if not THE best way to start your LD journey, so it's great that you're considering it. It's also great that you do RCs. As for your recall, it's pretty good (better than mine at the moment :damnit:), but I'd say you try to work on it until you can remember at least 4-5 a week. But that's just me. Do what you think is right. :)
You said you've looked at the tutorial? Which one is the most appealing to you?
I find WILDs to be very appealing, there's just something about them that grabs my attention more than the others in the descriptions it gives. I was wondering if doing Reality Checks allow you to remember your dreams better, do they?
I just got my dream journal ready, so I'm hoping I have a dream tonight. :D
Hello James. :D
Hello Dizko, nice to meet you. :D
And I was also wondering, is there any specific induction technique I should start out with? Or is anyone fine?
To me, anyone is fine. Do the one you like the best. :)
I personally would recommend This version. ;)
