im guessing you havent read the tutorial list on the homepage ;)

i read the thing like twice but it never burns into my head... i got that ADHD problem and i can barely focus on anything that involves reading lol...
just a dumbed down explination of those terms would be nice..
IMO the descriptions in that topic are quite shortened already. You can't expect to understand the more complex terms if you aren't able to read a couple of lines. On the other hand, I guess you don't need to understand every single term just yet if you're new ;)
wild: wake induced lucid dream: it happens when you go from being awake into a dream where your aware.
Sp: sleep paralysis: happens right before the rem(rapid eye movement) period in your sleep cycle. it feels really funky when your aware its happening to ya
dild: dream induced lucid dream: it happens when your dreaming when you figure out your dreaming
oh so now you think im too stupid for this! well guess what! its not that dont understand those terms! its just that i cant sit still long enough and pay attention to, and remember exactly what it is that i read! its a little thing called A,D,H,D im sure you know what that is
all i need are definitions and explanations that are short, sweet, and to the point. thats all i asked for in the first place!
that chris guy was able to answer my question so why couldn't you?
Dude, chill. There's no need to get aggressive. It was never my intention to insult anyone here (why would I, I'm still new myself afterall). What I was saying is that you cannot break everything down into a single sentence,
some of the descriptions you can read there are already pretty short and to the point.
If you need them shorter, read them one by one and summarize them yourself ;)
You'll remember them far more easily than if you just ask someone else to do the job for you.
WILD - Wake Initiated Lucid Dream. A type of a Lucid Dream where you start dreaming without losing consciousness after going to sleep. Full of interesting phenomena like SP and Hypnagogic hallucinations. Can also refer to a technique for achieving a LD.
SP - Sleep Paralysis. When you fall asleep, your bodie's muscles "shut down", so you don't act out your dreams and accidentally hurt yourself. When you start experimenting with dreams it's possible to experience it while conscious. It can be accompanied by hypnagogic hallucinations. These hallucinations happen when you're falling asleep or when waking up (hypnopompic). They can be auditory, tactile or visual.
HI - Hypnagogic Imagery. A type of hypnagogic hallucination.
MILD - Mnemonic Induced Lucid Dream. A technique. Example in the tutorial section.
DILD - Dream Initiated Lucid Dream. A type of a lucid dream which was achieved after losing consciousness/awareness. The lucid awareness was gained after you started dreaming as oppsed to a WILD, where you keep your awareness through the whole process. Can also refer to a technique.
DEILD - Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream. A technique. In short, you gain a LD by staying still when waking up and trying to reenter the dream. Apparently quite effective.
binary beasts... I'm assuming you mean Bineural Beats. They can be used to change brainwaves and thus the persons state of mind. Commonly used in audio aids for achieving LDs.
Check the tutorial section for more techniques and the acronym list where stuff is explained.
... thank ye
