I'm New! =]]
Hello everyone! Last night was exactly my third night of me trying to remember my dreams. My first night I never woke up during the night and I remembered one dream. The second night I never woke up during the night and I remembered three dreams. Last night I woke up twice during the night. The first time I woke up and I remembered three dreams, the second time I woke up I remembered two dreams, and I remembered three more dreams when I woke up for the day.
I keep a dream journal and have been writing down everyone of my dreams. I havent counted, but I would guess I have taken up way more ten pages already because some of my dreams are so long and detailed. I also have been practicing understanding my dreams and I think I have done very well. I will always have a guess at what they mean when I wake up, but sometimes I am able to figure out what they mean through out the day.
I have one question before I go on and sorry if this is in the wrong forum. But lucid dreaming is where you can control your dream? Right?

:welcome: to Dreamviews. Sounds like you've got some really nice recall! That helps a lot with everything in dreaming. Since you seem to be interested in dream interpretation, check out the board for it:

You're kinda right about lucid dreaming. Being lucid only means you are aware that you are dreaming during the dream. Controlling the dream is the main reason people wanna become lucid though, cause it's just so much fun!:D If you're interested in becoming lucid as well, check out this tutorial:

Good luck!

Ok, thank you! I understand now. I'm not completly lucid, but I have had dreams where I know it is a dream. I actually started screaming "It's only a dream" in my dream when I was little because I was in tall grass and there was this monster that was in the grass that i couldn't see. I was scared to death so I started screaming "It is only dream!" to try and wake myself up. I did wake up, but not positive how. Maybe just my will to wake up woke me up. I am also able to control most of my dreams as long as I am in them and I'm not a outsider looking in.
