What is best effective

:welcome: to DV!
It's customary to start a Dream Journal and boost your recall before you attempt to Lucid Dream. Once you do that, it'll be much easier to try an LD method. As for how effective each method is, I would say it depends on the individual. Something could be THE method for someone, and never work for another. Like for me, I just can't seem to pull off a HILD, but DILD and DEILD are the easiest for me.

Welcome to DV! :)
I second what Snowy told you. Also, it's very individual how long it takes until having your first lucid dream. Some have success on the first night, some take weeks, or longer. I have no idea what the average is, but I do see a lot of success stories here on DV where it didn't take long.

Yea I have started a journal about 3 days ago and i have 2 dreams in it so far so i usually have a bout 1 dream evry other day however 2 days ago i had 2 dreams which is pretty unusual and hopefully i will build up my recall to 1-2 dreams a day
