Non-LD flight
I've made two entries in two days to my journal before last night, and I actually dreamt that I was able to fly! I also had superhuman strength, though I didn't utilize it alot. I can't believe I was so naive to think that I really had some sort of superpower, instead of realizing it as a dream:P But it was extremely fun though. Also, one thing I realized was that flying horizontally is much easier than flying up. I was stuck at 3-4 storeys high before I let go of my fears and hit the 9th, then leaping to the 11th, where I live.
Does this mean I'm getting closer to LDing? Because in later parts of my dreams one of the characters was explaining to me something about dreams, and curse me for not getting that obvious hint. I'm not sure if it'll be as exciting as an LD though, in a dream like that!

The reason we accept outlandish situations as real in dreams is because the logic center of our brain is switched off as we sleep. An example of this, the other night in a dream I was using a cut in half baked potato as a video camera and I didn't think it was strange at all.
The more you dream the more you'll start recognising the oddities that will make you lucid. If you fly a lot in dreams you could eventually use that as a cue to get you lucid. And everytime someone mentions something about dreaming, reality check. That way those hinting DCs will help you to get lucid as well.

That sounds like a really fun non-LD!
Practice RCs and paying attention to the world around you and hopefully you will recongnize it is a dream next time!
