An adventure...?
Well, here we go. They say the greatest adventure starts witha single step, and this is my first. I have read over the site and I am determined to suceed in dream control. I am not dissatisfied with life, but I want to do things that are impossible. I want to fly, I want to stand on the moon looking at the Earth, I want superpowers, I want to create that which I envision. I am going to keep posting my progress. If this all works, maybe someday years down the road I will see you in dreamland.

A dream journal will help you keep us posted on your lucid travels. All of those things that you've mentioned are so much fun, I hope you get to do them.

Night 1- I told myself aloud several times before going to sleep that I would remember my dreams, I tried to focus my mind on the objective. Upon awaking this morning, I have several recollections of last nights dreams:
One scene started with me inside my living room, many people there, including several friends. A policeman comes in a t the same time as a friend of mine, this isn't good as a lot of marijuana stuff is in the room. In fact, my friend (J) has a bag of weed in one hand and he is hastily putting it away in full view of the officer. I feel a sense of dread, this guy is about to bust the whole place. He doesn't though, he wants to inform us that......... hmmm, memory gets foggy here..... tell us that somebody left their lights on or something else mundane. He leaves without a second glance and I follow him out. The exterior of this house is not mine even if the inside was. I get in my car.... memory fog again.... I know I need to go to a friend of my mothers house to turn on her house lights for her, I drive there and the lights are already on. In fact, i find that turning on my headlights and flashing the house with them turns the lights on and off. (possible reality checkpoint I should attempt next time)
Next scene I can remember- I am in a leather loveseat couch, suspended by a thick rope hanging next to a huge black skyscraper. I'm probably 200 feet above the ground but there must be 800 feet of building above me. There is a rope dangling nearby which I know I can use to lower myself down, but it is about a foot outside my best reach. I know that in order to reach it I will have to give up my balance on the couch and risk a fall, but this doesn't scare me, I am in fact excited by the prospect. I am confident in my ability to grab it even if it meant jumping full off the couch, I do this and it is the last thing I concretely remember, grabbing the rope.
So, plainly there are several moments where I could have hit a reality check, especially the building thing. I am happy to have remembered so much on my first night.
