Very Interested... and on the Way. Seeking Guidance.

I've recently learned about Lucid Dreams, and I'm eager to experience them. I've started to do what I've heard of as good habits, but I'd like some help. I'm a 17 year old university student, I'm an intellectual, and I have a really good memory. Below I'll outline my current training status:
I go to bed at about 1:00 each night. I wake up at around 11:00. When I go to sleep, I say to myself, "I will dream and I will remember each dream". The last few nights, I've found myself waking up after each dream, (After each REM cycle, I guess). Whenever I wake up, I immediately go to my dream journal and record what I dreamt. I've been looking for some consistency or some dreamsigns I could maybe use. I've been documenting my dreams for about 4 nights, and the quantity of dreams I remember and the detail is improving.
So, anything I should do differently? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to cross the threshold from passive dreaming to lucid. Cheers,
