Funny WILD Story

So when I started drying to LD I felt that WILD would be an excellent way to get more familiar with the LD experience with consistency. Unfortunately, I found that I could never even begin to fall asleep while trying, so I eventually decided to come back to it when I was more experienced.

But for the first time today, while taking a nap, I managed to successfully remain conscious while falling asleep. The thing is, it was completely unintentional. So essentially, I was meditating, but not concentrating as much as I should.

Eventually, after feeling that I was finished meditating, I just got off the couch. Strangely, I found myself somewhere, and I couldn't explain how I had gotten there. I soon realized that I was late for a class, and so I ran hoping to make it there. But then I realized that time and space were highly distorted, as well as my perception of the world. What I thought had happened, was that the after effects of some drugs I had taken had caused this change in perception. Despite the fact that I couldn't remember how I had ended up in a different state. I realized at that point "If I wanted to right now, I could give myself superpowers." Essentially, I realized that everything around me was exactly like a dreamworld, and therefore was impossible, but I didn't realize I was dreaming...

From now on, whenever I think I'm on drugs, I'm doing a RC.

Interesting experience. I'm not sure if it was what I'd call a WILD or not, but very cool none the less.

Right, that's technically not a WILD since it wasn't a lucid dream, it was just a regular dream, a false awakening it sounds like. Still, pretty funny :tongue:
