It's happened to me once but I knew what it was, thanks to the Discovery Channel. So as soon as it happened, I was aware, and woke up before it got scary. But if it happens and you're not aware, it's said to be one of the scariest things a person can experience. It's responsible for many supposed "alien abductions" but the experience can vary. But since you know what it is, you'll most likely be aware of it. When it comes to SP with LDing, I' been told it's only required if you're trying to LD while awake.
sleep paralysis can be enjoyable. like punch, i only experienced sleep paralysis after i knew what it was. all the strange noises/visuals that come after are something to lookforward to in my opinion.
some people become anxious and frightened when they loose control of their body, especially when you add visual and aditory hallucinations to the mix. I'm interested to hear your reaction the first time you are consciously aware of your body going through sleep paralysis
Happens every night and is harmless.
Sometimes it's a hell of a ride, other times you will feel nothing at all. Depends on lots of factors. I love roller coasters so I enjoy the thrill rides, I prefer them to the times where I feel nothing at all.
