New here...couple questions..

I'm new here and this seems like a very interesting place. I had a couple questions. It seems there are many places where people are trying to obtain lucid dreams. I'm wondering why I accidentally was able to lucid dream. I was thinking maybe people who are more aware of reality while AWAKE are also more aware of reality while dreaming? Because in real life, I've always had this obsession with real vs. fake. I always believed in truth and not making up lies about your life. Also, naturally being aware of everything around me in waking life might have contributed to the accidental lucid dreaming??

I'm curious how often do many of you lucid dream?

I think it happens a few times a month for me.

I average about one every four days. Yes, being more aware of your surroundings will help you pick up on dream signs. You just need to learn to recognize dream signs.

I completely agree that being aware of your surroundings and analyzing what is real and what makes sense in waking life can lead to lucid dreams (LDs).

Some people are lucky to have one or two LDs a year. Others, like me, have multiple lucid dreams every night.
