Lucid Dream
Okay now don't laught, but even though I've been a member of this site for a few days, I still don't know what a lucid dream is. :embarrassed:
So, I was wondering, could anyone tell me what ta lucid dream? I would be really grateful.
You don't have to, if you don't want to.

thats it:
"A lucid dream is a dream in which the person is aware that he or she is dreaming while the dream is in progress, also known as a conscious dream. When the dreamer is lucid, he or she can actively participate in the dream environment without any of the limitations that otherwise would feel natural to persons who incorrectly believe they are in the "real" waking world. Lucid dreams can be extremely real and vivid depending on a person's level of self-awareness during the lucid dream."
(Quelle: wikipedia -.- :D)
couldnt say it better ^^. and never mind! you learn, just like all of us. a LD can be just like real life, only that you can do whatever the f*** you want... ^^

No problem, Kit! As Blitzwing said, a lucid dream is one where you realize it is a dream while you are still having it. You're still inside of the dream, and realize that it is not real, that it's just a creation by your mind. Obviously this opens a lot of possibilities for controlling the dream, which you can learn to do :) Just keep browsing the forums, I think you will be up to speed in no time at all :)

Oh.
That's what they are! I think I've only ever had two of those lucid dreams before.
Thanks for telling me what they are!!!

No problem! This whole site is about learning how to have those dreams and how to be in control of them so you can do what you want when you do :)

figured this would be an ok place to ask...
What are WILDs and MILDs?
-
WILDS- Wake Initiated Lucid Dream. This is when you wake up in the middle of the night and go back to bed, counciously, meaning your brain is awake but your body falls asleep. They are usually clearer and more controlled than other LDs (Lucid Dreams)
This should answer all your questions and then some: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=62282
MILD- Mnemonic Indcuced Lucid Dream. This is when you tell yourself that you will wake up after every dream, remember it, record in your DJ (Dream Journal), and go back to sleep. Imagine yourself the dream that you just had, recognizing you are dreaming. This is the basics of a MILD.
Here is a TUT (Tutorial): http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=1885
And this is good for figuring out what things stand for: http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ead.php?t=2954
Hope this helps!
