      Hello!

      Hello all,

My name is Adrian-Keith and I've been interested in Lucid Dreaming after seeing the movie waking life about... oh, 2 years ago? Somewhere around there. Anyway, since then i've been trying to find some places that have good reading material. I've found a few but in the end they want you to buy some product that induces lucid dreaming, but after reading all the success that most people have been having, i've been motivated to try this again. I get discouraged a bit easily but I really want to get this right. After reading a few posts here, it seems that everyone's fairly friendly and more than willing to give a helping hand to beginners. I know its not going to be easy, and i'm going to have to keep at it. I guess i'm just here to ask for some pointers and to make some friends with some of you, if not, all of you

Anyway i'll cut this short so I don't bore you all.
      Hello, once again

One more thing, would having a dream journal be the first step to take in order to produce more lucid dreams?

      Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum Waking life!!!..erm...again

I am glad you have rekindled you interest for lucid dreaming, and I think it's great that you found this community, as we are more than willing to help set you on your way. I do believe that keeping a dream journal would be a rather important asset for becoming lucid, as it will help you with your dream recollection, help you identify dream signs, and make your dreams more vivid and intense. All of these factors come in handy when looking to become lucid. I also recommend you read our tutorials in order to learn of the different methods available to become lucid...

      Good luck in your journey!!!

      Welcome - Again

A dream journal is generally a good habit, it gets your subconscious set into a good dreaming routine (lets it know that dreaming is important)
As a added bonus (act now, and you will get a free....) you can go over your dreams again in a couple of months time. Trust me you forget them easily if you dont
