New here!
Hi, I'm new to this forum but not really new to lucid dreaming.
As a teenager I used to have lucid dreams but lost the motivation when I went to university. Over the past ten years I've occasionally thought about trying again but didn't do much about it until I read the book "The Head Trip" by Jeff Warren, which has a section on lucid dreaming. And now, suddenly I'm lucid dreaming again!
I find it quite easy to do and have never had to put much effort into doing it, but I find that as soon as I become aware that I'm dreaming, everything becomes quite a bit less clear and much less realistic. I feel very aware of my body lying in my bed and it seems to take away from the clarity of the dream. Hopefully that's something that will improve.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi!

Welcome to Dreamviews, you lucky natural! Losing clarity after becoming lucid is unfortunately common. Something that I find really helps is to stop whatever you were doing, and then just rub your hands together and focus on something. Don't get carried away!:P
