Lucid Meditation
I found this place while searching for info on galantamine.
I currently use lucid dreaming as part of my spiritual practice and for personal growth. I read Stephen Laberge's original book over a year ago and I have tweaked a few of the things there to more suit my personal practices.
I have had a few lucid dreams, one of which occurred in the last month. When I attained lucidity that time I meditated within the dream which caused some very interesting experiences.
The next two books I ordered on the subject are on Tibetan Dream Yoga and the other one is called something like Advanced Lucid Dreaming Techniques Using Supplements.
I'm looking forward to talking to many of you.
Best Regards,

I've heard of some interesting experiences coming from meditation within the lucid dream. It's something I think I want to try out. But do you close your eyes when you do so, because the reason I haven't done this yet is because closing my eyes can cause me to lose lucidity. Just wondering if it works with your eyes open.
anyway, welcome to the forum. glad to have you here :)

Oddly enough, the entire dream was auditory until I lost focus the second time.
You don't need to close your eyes to meditate, many traditions allow the user the freedom to keep their eyes open. Just focus on your mantra or whatever else is your mode of focus during meditation.

By the way, all three of my LDs have been WILDs, which were induced through meditation.
