Hello
Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. :)
I've been having lucid dreams all my life now and up untill around 4 years ago I started having OBE's (out of body experiences) Most of my OBE's are documented on another forum but I've decided to sign up here to share my lucid dreams and experiences. :)
After all the time I've spent being lucid, theres 2 things that stand out the most that I'd really like to learn more about..
1. Dream characters - who are they, what are they, where are they and what is there purpose? if any.
2. When flying, allthough I've been in space a few times, most of the time once I get through the clouds, there seems to be these staticly charged fuzzy energy patches lingering about that have a wierd eeiry feeling/taste when touched and that usually forces me to move away from it. Its a bright or dark blue colour and usually vibrates really fast and makes the same noise of electric pilons.

1. Dream Characters, or DC's serve hardly any purpose other then to entertain you or annoy you ^^
2. This one is harder for me to work out but the best i could say is its your subconscious wanting you to stay where it understand or just the fact you are not 100% sure what space should looks like.

Welcome, Clarky :) If you read around on the forums, you'll see that nearly everyone has a different concept of what a DC is. Only you can really make that decision for yourself, and the best way is to just read around and decide what you believe, and what you believe is BS. I personally don't think DCs are anything but a figment of your imagination, and as to the purpose of dreaming... we will probably never know! But it's fun to have your own conceptions, I am eagerly waiting for some more scientific evidence!
I've never flown to space, but I've never read a similar account like that on here. You seem relatively advanced with LDing, so you may want to ask in the General Lucid Discussion area, you might get some more relevant advice than here in the noob section since you are so far ahead of the majority of the newbies.

:welcome:
Try making a list of questions to ask your DCs. Thier responses might surprise you. I've had luck with direct questions such as
Do you recognize me?
Do you like me?
Do you know this is dream?
What did you do yesterday?
