You have dreams everynight more than once during your REM cycles. The problem you have is remebering them. The mind usually doesent remember everydream, a good way to start remembring is to keep a dream journal. This will train your mind to remember.
You can also try to wake up 5-6 hours after you sleep (right after you dream) and remember them this way. (plus its a good time to WILD)
Everynight before you go to sleep say "i will remember my dreams" for 2 minutes.
Eventually you will remember dreams every night
Thanks. I will try tonight.
Hey there nicholas!
The reason why you think you've had no dream at all and that it feels like you have only slept for a minute is because you simply didin't remember the dream(s)!
EVERYONE has multiple dreams each night (one for each R.E.M. period, they last 90 minutes, then you start another one. You usually have 3-4 per night.). The reason why they say they don't have any is because of low dream-recall, thus meaning they don't remember they're dreams. If you would like to increase your dream recall then try starting a dream journal (everytime you have a dream that you remember, write it down in as much detail as possible and from a 1st person perspective such as using the word I.) everytime you wake up in the morning so it's still fresh. Once you wake up try to stay as still as possible and try to let the dream replay in your mind. Once that's finished
record it ^.^
If you need any other help then message me or something. Happy lucid dreaming :boogie:!
Ah. I see. I will try to record everything in a journal once I remember some dream.
You have dreams everynight, the problem you're having is remembering them. Keep a dream journal, that trains your mind to remember your dreams. Also, try suggesting to yourself before you go to sleep to remember your dreams. That usually works for me.
what do you do during the day? I never remember much of my dreams, but any time I have a really stressful or tiring day I don't remember anything at all about my dreams after I wake up.
what helps, is if you keep dreaming on your mind a lot during the day. If your not remembering anything, keep telling yourself over and over that the next time you are dreaming, you will remember your dreams.
Maybe the first night, or maybe after a few nights, you will start getting short fragments that will eventually expand into full dreams as you keep working at it.
When you do remember something, even if it's just a single image or feeling. Visualize that image, or think about that feeling often during the day. I've found that visualizing the most vivid moments of my dreams as clearly as I can, often during the day, is an even more powerful way to gain better recall than just recording them.
You have many dreams each night, but you just can't remember, try using auto suggestion, tell yourself you will remember your dreams and it should work. Goodluck:bowdown::boogie:
