      Howdy Dream Views!

      Hey! How's it going?

Although I'm new to posting here, I'm not necessarily new to the whole concept. I've never actually gone lucid, but I've been close a number of times, I'm getting closer as time goes on anyway.

I've read one book a few times about this whole subject and feel fairly informed about it, and my own experiences make up my entire knowledge of this subject.

I do have a dream journal, which I'll probably be uploading the entirety of it soon (is that within the rules?). I personally haven't noticed any common signs in the dreams, so it makes it that much harder.

I can't induce lucid dreams on my own, I just get that feeling that my body's asleep in my: hands, feet, arms, legs. In that order. But I can never get anymore than that.

What works for me is to be mid-dream and hope something frustrates me to the point where I want to change it and start focusing all of my thought power into changing it the way I want. It's like a combined effort of being mostly subconscious, until I don't like something and try to consciously change it. Anyway, it hasn't led to a full lucid yet.

So, if you have any advice for making that apparently last few steps to a full lucid, something I should practice during the day (I can't think of any good reality checks, but maybe you all could?) it would be greatly appreciated!

And, of course, Mustbe18 sent me to this site, so thanks to him for that!

      Welcome to dreamviews lawrence

1st thing you should do is to put your dreams that you do have into the online dream journal. I'll be happy to look for dream signs for you.

2nd. Is to perform reality checks whenever that thing happens in real life. And if it wont try to convince yourself that you will do it next time it happens I'E. when you dreaming.

3rd. you should just try to question reality through out the day and constantly perform relity check while thinking intently about them.

If you keep this up you should have your first lucid in no time.

P.S. when you get lucid don't just run off and do anything wait a little bit before you do let the dream stabilize, rub you hands together and feal the roof of you mouth with your tongue, and yell out celerity. these things should increase the vividness of the dream and you lucidity.

Total lucids: 22 DILD(20) DEILD(1) semi lucid (6) objectives: attain perfect clarity [X] Grow a controllable tail [3/5] Fly[X] waterbend[ ] meet my dream guide[ ] change dreamscape[ ] perform a perfect Kamehameha wave[1/2] become my fursona [ ]

Looks like everything that I can say has been said. Just check out the tutorials section, there is some good stuff in there.

Hm.. well, I still haven't done it yet, but certainly this site really has helped! (I really started all of this a year or more ago, and nothing has really happened until now). I don't really know what to ask for help, other than hopeful wishes!

I almost made it last night; I was in my bed, after waking up from a dream, I got some apple juice and went back to bed trying to sleep with binural beats. But my fatty headphones made it impossible to relax the only way I can (essentially face down on a pillow, I cannot sleep on my back!)

I then tried to just relax and keep my mind focused on lucid dreaming. I started seeing a bunch of colors swirling about in the blackness, mainly yellows and blues and greens. And occasionally I'd see basically a scene in a circle go by, sometimes it would stop and expand and grow in detail, but I'd lose focus.

Eventually I got to a point where I was still very aware I was asleep on my bed and that I'm just seeing this with my eyes closed, but the image was pretty clear and I could hear the guy talking to me.

I suppose I could use your help on determining if that was a dream or not. Link to my DJ, it's at the bottom, but I'll post a short summary here. It didn't feel real, like I was expecting a dream to feel, but I could clearly make out the grass, the lake, the 2 dogs. And I could clearly hear this guy talking to me. But I still felt like I was just in my bed. Then one of my favorite songs started playing (I could clearly hear it! But in the real world, the song wasn't playing), and as I started to forget that I was actually in bed, my head felt like it was spinning. That spinning excited me and I woke up.

I don't feel like it was a dream, since I was so aware of me in bed, but it also was so vivid, and clear, especially the sounds! So do you all think it was an actual dream, or was I just envisioning that?

Also, after skimming my book again, I really don't like it. The methods it describes seem to lack a few very helpful ideas this site offers! Such as the Reality Checks. I've never heard that until here! That book really goes in depth into what Astral Projection is and the whole theory behind it, not so much in the way of help as to achieve one.

      Anyway, thanks for welcomes!
