I just felt like mentioning a rather odd experience I had afew weeks ago.
I had a pretty 'normal' dream I guess you could call it that,just talking to friends, but then as I woke up I could still hear the voices in my head, like the dream was still going on but I was awake and couldn't visually see it :|
It only happened for about a minute or less but it scared the shit out of me!
Has anyone else experienced this before?
Or am I just going crazy? :paranoid:

Don't worry too much about it, it's sounds just like Hypnogogic Imagery (visual and audio hallucinations associated with REM sleep, which basically form the building blocks of dreams) to me.
As a side note if you partially wake up again and you can still see/hear things from your dream (or if your just hallucinating in general;)) you could use it in order to DEILD(Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream) into a *lucid* dream..

Yeah that's happened to me a few times and really freaks me out, especially when it happens in the middle of the night.
It could have been a false awakening.
In either case, don't worry. Your house is not haunted or anything. ;)

I think you're about to become totally nuts.
I used to get crazy hypnagogic hallucinations when i was younger along with sleep paralysis, freaky as hell when your 10 years old and a demon forms from mist at the foot of your bed and starts "talking" (more like demonic wispers than speach) at you while you are paralised and incapable of achieving any thing louder than a patheic wimper as a desparate cry for help. then on top of that when you mother comes in after about 5 minutes and breaks you out of it she doesnt believe you :(( so yea i wouldnt worry too much about voices ;P nothing to cause alarm (unless of course it happens throughout the day)
That would scare me too.
