I have a few things to say too
I've had a lucid dream but when i knew i was dreaming i woke up but the problem was i was very young :P (6-8 years maybe)
If you have a nightmare NEVER think that u'll see it again or u might(This happened to me and my friend) :P
If u are a sleeptalker ... Think that "I WILL NOT SLEEPTALK OR sLEEPWALK" and it works works for me
if u have waking up problems think b4 u sleep "I WILL WAKE UP THE X 'O Clock(X=Time)"
Some of these must be done regularly for a few days then u'll be always in control of your sleep
:welcome:
Yes, lucid dreaming is real. It is scientifically documented.
Yes, lucid dreaming is very safe. However, since it isn't studied much I can't say that it is 100% safe. But at the same time there are many people who LD every night with no apparent problems from it. Some people use LDs to deal with fears, phobias, etc. so the benifit outweighs any possible risk for most people.
You can LD at any age. Some people LD from early childhood all the way until old age. However, you have to be at least 15 to join Dreamviews.
While there is no physical reason for LDing to be addictive, it is possible that if you have an unhappy or unsatisfactory life you may develop a mentally based need for it. However, most people LD never have any problem with becoming addicted.
Hiya, saif.pk, and :welcome: to Dreamviews!
Yes, lucid dreaming is true. It sounds fantastic, I know, but it is actually quite easy to achieve with a little determination and practice. Lucid dreaming is perfectly safe, unless you have severe problems with sleepwalking, in which case you might want to be careful of your environment. Normally sleep paralysis keeps us from acting out our dreams; in sleepwalkers this is not always the case.
Age is no factor in lucid dreaming; I know several naturals that have been lucid dreaming for as long as they can remember. There is an age requirement to join the forums, though; you must be at least 15 years old to make an account. Lucid dreaming is not addictive; it is simply dreaming. Of course, as seeker28 indicated in her post, it's partly your state of mind.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask, and I hope you enjoy your stay here!
Happy Lucids! :dreaming:
Thanks for the answers
I might try it :P

Yes it's true, I've had over 100 of them.
Yes it's safe. In terms of what your brain is doing, lucid dreams are the same as regular dreams, just more logical thought.
Age is no factor, we have members here who started before they were 10 and members here in their 60s.
It's fun, but not addictive. It doesn't take over your life, it only happens at night (for most of us) and you're sleeping then anyway :P
Welcome to the board. I like to consider dreaming like a drug trip experience, because during REM sleep your pineal gland lactactes a hallucinogenic substance called DMT. So, trying to become lucid and aware during this trip could be a very good thing, but also could be a very bad thing if you're not mentally at peace with yourself.
