Kind of a stupid question, but sounds like something out of The X-Files.
Are you asking why light switches, clocks, and other technology so often malfunction in dreams? Some people think it is because such things are complex and logical and during most dreams the logic center of our brains is turned off, so they don't work or they work wrong.
Just a guess, but, I think that if you aren't able to understand how what you are trying to use (such as a cell phone, computer, light switch, ect) works you won't be able make it work in your dream. At least correctly. None of that is for sure, just my opinion.
Well explained! Thanks!
This surely explains why my keyboard on my computer had all the keys in the wrong places when I was dreaming!
If that thanks was directed at me, No problem! I'm happy to help anytime. If not, then this is akward...
We all know that lightswitches are prone to not work, but has anyone ever encountered a scenario where electronics work improperly?
Such as a light switch changing the room around or putting you outside when it is flipped?
In my next lucid dream (they're few and far between) I want to try googling the meaning of life or chatting with someone on AIM. It's bound to degenerate into a nightmare because typically things with screens on them tend to terrify me when they don't work as they should. IDK..?
Electronics usually work for me. But the dreams themselves are generally unstable. Things change, so do electronics, but there is nothing special about them.
I stole it from somebody else years ago :P
It's not like I'm the only one. I've seen it on a number of forums. All credits go to the unknown maker of course :) . So you are a blender user too, huh?
Sorry for off topic talk. It's your thread anyway, so as long as you don't mind :P
I am a (novice) Blender user too! (REALLY novice.)
Cool! Then you can teach us noobs.
yea idk why, in one of my drems i picked up an old home phone and tried to use it but it just wouldnt work, to the point where i got annoyed and i woke up. (was not lucid)
