      Coming back

So I've left the site a long time ago (maybe over a year). I just kind of gave up on the whole thing, I just don't think i could do it while I was at school, and had to work at the same time. But since then I have a full time job, however I work 3 different shifts (the occasional split shift), I have either 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, or on weekends I work Midnights (11pm-7am) but that only happens every 3-4 weeks. I don't work steady shifts whatsoever, i have 2 random days off a week. What should I do with my sleep schedule? I mean will these shifts make it very hard LD?

I still dream fairly regularly, and I find that if i sleep on my couch I dream more than if I'm sleeping in my bed. 90% of my dreams involve people I know from work now, they generally do not take place at work though, I find it usually involves a house, it's a place I know (in my dream, but not real life). What kind of RC do you recommend?

I'm tired and don't have anything else to say for now, thanks a lot for answering my questions!

      Welcome back!

A sleep shedule like that could make it hard to LD, however everyone is different. I tend to have great LDs when I have a crazy sleep schedule (even though it makes me feel like crap during the day). I think the main thing is to try to get at least 8 hours of sleep per 24 hours.

Because you still have okay dream recall you have a head start in the LD department. I suggest going over some of the tutorals that helped you in the past. Use seeing people you work with as a cue to RC.

Welcome back. I'm sure you could find a way around your wacky schedule. The inconsistencies may make it easier for you to cash in on some REM rebound. When you find yourself sleep deprived after a midnight shift, be prepared for some long dreams the next time you sleep.
