I suck pretty bad at this...

ok, so...
i've been attemping to WILD and i get to a point where i'll start noticing my body starting to numb a little and then I begin to feel like i'm being wipped around in a tornado.
right when this happens my heart will rapidly stat pumping, and loose concentration and i'll open my eyes and i'll be tripping balls (hallucinating).
my heart still pounding to the point where i can litterally feel my bed shaking in rythm to my heart.
can this be fixed?
please, i'm really compelled on trying to WILD!

I thought you were supposed to ignore that kind of stuff and just lay still?

I tried just going with it.
I tried imagining that something else is going on.

It's really hard for me to just let it happen for some reason...

Sounds like you get some intense hypnagogia. When you initiate it, try using a meditation that is not focused on your body. For example, don't count your breaths or listen to your heartbeat. Some people find they can bypass the bumpy transition to sleep if they take their focus away from their body before it starts.

The good news is, you've figured out the hardest part. If you are this far along, you are further than most people ever get. You just need a reliable and smooth way to relax through the wackiness and enter a dream.

I often get rough transitions, too. I don't mind them too much. I try to enjoy them for what they are, viewing them as another kind of dreaming.

yeah, at first its a really soft feeling that i can relax too.
then it gets intense, and i cant help but wake from it..
it sucks...

Don't be discouraged if you wake from it. Just go back to doing what you were doing, and it will come on again super fast and easy.

Right after I wake, and my heart beat goes back to normal, i'm wide awake!
I can't even begin to try it again, because I'll get frustrated!
and I know if I get frustrated with it, i'll end up wanting to quit... i need to take it slow.

If you haven't tried already,

1) Roll your dream body out of your body lying in bed. While paralyzed, vividly imagine yourself rocking back and forth until you feel a dream body separate from your 'real' body.

2) Ask for help. Call out to the darkness around you, asking for help getting out of bed. You will be surprised at how interactive these hallucinations can be once you engage them.

3) Imagine a vivid memory of something tactile involving motion. Remember what it feels like running down a familiar street, or rolling down a grassy hill, or playing your favorite sport. Anything you can remember vividly, and therefore imagine easily. Imagine yourself a new dream body doing this tactile activity, and really feel it.

Like you said, take it slow. Don't get frustrated. Think of each WILD as an experiment, trying to figure out what works best for you.

so... when i get this intense vibration feeling i should try to imagine a dream version of myself... maybe.. riding a roller coster perhaps?

That would be good. Try to make it something easy to imagine. Something you already have built in your memory, so you don't have to think about it too much.

And one thing I forgot to mention is, when you are really in the heat of the wackiness, take a slow, deep breath. Sometimes a deep breath is all I need to dump right into a dream.
