Question about books on Lucid Dreaming.

Hey, I'm new and such. I've lucid dreamed twice before, but never on purpose. Three days ago I started keeping a dream journal and I've begun to try to purposely have lucid dreams. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to purposely have lucid dreams, but specifically I have questions about books on Lucid Dreaming. I know there are a good amount out there but I can't seem to find any copies of them. Can I find books about lucid dreaming at most libraries, or are they rare? Are books on lucid dreaming worth getting? Are they informative and helpful? If so, which of them are actually worth getting?

personaly i would just check the tutorials page on how to lucid dream instead of buying a book.
i would think that the tutorials page would have everything you need to know about how to achieve a lucid dream.
but then again a book might help because it could possibly have a different method of trying to LD then what the tutorials page has to offer.
if anything, i would get a book just because i would like to know if there are other methods.
i wouldn't know where to get one.... but you could try searching on amazon.com or ebay.
Dripping time into a seed that grows into the world and sprouts a fruit that ripens into humans. They stretch up into the sky looking for purpose, wandering when and if their time has come. Realizing the potential they have, they select their paths which weave in and out to make the good and the bad, the pure and the corrupt...

Hi neeksneeks! Keeping a dream journal is a great place to start on your Lucid Journey. Why don't you check out the tutorials, they have great information that will answer so many of your questions Here is the Link: http://dreamviews.com/tutorials.php

As far as books go, the only book I have ever found really helpful and full of priceless information is Stephen LaBurge's Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming. You can find it in bookstores in the self help section, or here at Amazon.com to buy:
      http://www.amazon.com/Exploring-Worl...8457469&sr=8-1

I hope this helps. Post around and enjoy getting Lucid If you have any questions or need help finding something, send me a messege and I'll help you out

Second on EWLD. Read it. It's decidedly better than 90 percent of what you will read here.

EDIT:Barbizzle, the title is 'Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming', not 'The Exciting World of Lucid Dreaming', just a heads up.
