Does age affect lucid dreaming?

Hi,
I am completely new to lucid dreaming and I recently found out about it in a Focus magazine.
I was just wondering; does age affect the ability to lucid dream at all as I am 13 years old?

The answer is no, age doesn't affect your ability to lucid dream.
However, younger people seem to find it a whole lot easier... I have theories on this, but I won't bore everyone with them.

If anything, your age will be helpful :D

I agree with Placebo, if anything it is great that you are starting at such a young age. You will find out as you spend more time here that we have many dreamers as young as yourself...some even younger. We also have users that range up to an 80-something woman that registered last week. My take on it is: The sooner the better...

well, ive just started at the age of 17 and ive had 4 LDs since joining DV (had one today, like 3 hours ago whilst taking a nap).
