Thanks everyone :) . is it hard to keep a dream journal? im thinking of starting one. also do i have to wake up during the night to improve my dream recall properly? or can i just use the dreams that i remember when i wake up in the morning?

You know it all depends on the person. Some find it easier to remember dreams if they wake up in the middle of the night (hopefully during a REM cycle), but others are perfectly content with just laying there in the morning for a couple of minutes and focusing on their dreams. ;) Dream journals aren't hard, though they might take some responsibility.
