      :) hello

My name is Tatiana. My best friend got me interested in the idea of lucid dreaming, and since then I have only had one for a brief period of time: I went swimming in this murky green water, and soon I found I was breathing underwater. Something clicked in my mind, an the water became clearer, but when I came up to the surface I saw a huge alligator sunbathing on land. I swam in the opposite direction, but the alligator appeared there as well. I got scared, lost my lucidity, and woke up. Anyway, I find it hard to focus and do RC's. I've never been able to do an RC whilst in a dream. I really want to have a longer lasting LD!

Welcome to Dream Views! Your #1 stop to learning how to have longer lucid dreams!

Yeah, it can be hard to pull off a RC, but just keep doing different RCs throughout the day and sooner or later, you'll do one in a dream!

If you have any questions, you can PM me, the dream guide team, or someone else.

      spuffyfan!

I had trouble with RCs too... I wouldn't remember to do them during the day... You can try drawing something on your hand, and whenever you look at it, do a reality check. That helped me remember to do it. (Like tying a string around your finger!)

      Good luck!

Hey, welcome and congrats That was a great start to lucid dreaming! Just keep practicing, reading, dream journaling, and reality checking. Finding your dream signs and raising your general awareness will usually result in RCing during your dreams

Do RCs more often. Also, go through your dream journal (or start one ) and find recurring themes and elements called Dream Signs (check out the tutorial on dream signs in the database)
