Welcome to Dream Views! I hope you learn alot :D If you ever have any questions feel free to send me a PM :) So what have you tried so far?
Well to tell you the truth this is my first time on this forum as i only turned 15 lol just reccomended age i just thought it was an interesting concept if you wouldnt mind would you like to point me in the right direction for which type of LD i should try and grasp first.

It has alot of great tutorials :) I would recommend starting a Dream Journal. Every morning when you wake up, right down your dreams. The you can start to remember 3-4 dreams a night. After you get good at that, start doing Reality Checks. Thats a test you do to see if you are in a dream or awake. I like to put my finger through my hand. If i can do it, it means I'm dreaming :)

I think the best route is to start a dream journal (and build up dream recall), figure out some dream signs, and start reality checking. This will make you more aware overall in your dreams and maybe cause you to realize you are dreaming, may randomly happen to give you lucidity, and during the day will get you to think a lot about lucid dreaming.
Also, read about the DEILD technique and try to figure out some rough REM periods for WBTB/DEILDs. At the least, read about DEILDs so that when you wake up from your next lucid, you have the opportunity to try to get back into it. I'd recommend also reading about dream stabilization, since early lucids sometimes are short if you get too excited!
Have you ever had a lucid dream before?
Starting a personal list of dream goals is also a great idea to keep you motivated, positive, expectant, and to sort of let your imagination run wild :D It also helps so that when you do become lucid, you have an idea of what to do right off the bat :D
Thankyou both very much your your much appreciated advice and thaks for giving me some direction and to Shift as to your question i dont think it was really lucid but i was in a dream and just before i woke up i realized this. (i have those alot)

My pleasure :D Well so long as you realize you are dreaming while you are in the dream, it's a lucid dream, which sounds to me like you have had a few but woken up pretty quickly from them? Definitely check out the link I posted to the dream stabilization, it should help you out if this is the case :)
