Thread: sleep walking etc

Hey, I don't think singing in your sleep will affect your progress. You should be okay. Just keep practicing and you will get there. What are you doing right now for LDing and dream recall? Maby if its not working you should change it up a bit.

It shouldn't, actually the only person that I know who talks in his sleep is also a natural lucid dreamer... I don't think it'll hinder you one bit at all. Depends on what is causing it and when exactly the sleep talking occurs, but I don't think it'd be a problem at all, except if you tried to WILD and insisted on trying to achieve sleep paralysis if your body is already disposed to not really keeping you still while you sleep. And even so, there are other ways to WILD, SP is completely irrelevant if you don't want to try that approach.

I talk and sing aswell, so don't feel bad. I don't think it has an affect on LDs... I'm a natural LDer, and I have always talked in my sleep.

If anything it could have a positive effect, since your mind might be a little more awake, moving your vocal cords and such... Not sure though.

ok sweet thats good to know. we'll i only just started a couple of weeks ago, but i've been keeping a dream journal and can normally remember about 2-3 dreams a night except for lately i havn't been able to, but will suddenly remember them a few hours later. weird. i get up after about 5 hours of sleep and try to wild but have fallen asleep alot. i think i just have to try harder haha last night though i tried it when i first went to bed and i nearly got there! i was so close haha but it took me ages so i think i'm just gunna keep up the wbtb. do you think i should change anything?

lol good to know that lots of other ppl do it too though. man i've had some embarrasing experiences with it though... jeez.
