So... what happened?

I was on this site a few years ago, and yesterday I decided I wanted to try and get into LDing again.

I had always been terrified of WILDs due to the hallucinations, but decided to suck it up and try it. I went to bed around midnght and set my alarm for 5:30 (not enough time maybe?) and decided I also might as well try the WILD before I went to sleep for the first time. I lie as still as possible, counting my breaths, every now and then feeling strange sensations, sometimes limb jerking, sometimes tingling, sometimes seeing stars. I get to about 400 before I finally sick of it and decide to just sleep.

I wake up when my alarm goes off (turns out I hadn't set it for daylight savings time yet and it went off at 4:30... heh) and try to do the WILD again, but I just can't concentrate on counting my breaths and give up.

During my first attempt, was I right on the edge of falling into an LD?
