Not quite sure
so i recently had a dream that i thought felt like a lucid dream...i knew i was dream yet could feel and hear and taste everything but i could not change anything in the dream i had to let it play out all the way until i woke in the morning....but it was like i was really there it even felt as though i had an out of body experiance...i have been tryin really hard to have a lucid dream to kinda help my mind out alittle but figuring out where i went wrong in my decision making anyways...is there anyone out there that can tell me if it was a lucid dream or the beginnin of a lucid dream? all the dreams i have been havin lately i can remember them almost down to the last detail its strange cause its been years since i could do that...but i need some advice to keep attaintin everything that is happenin while im sleepin..can anyone throw some advice or help me in anway..please??

It sounds like a Lucid Dream to me, if you knew you were dreaming while you were dreaming. You may not always be able to control your surroundings.

If your wanting to remember more dreams, then you can start by keeping a Dream Journal. A Dream Journal (DJ for short) is simply a journal that you record your dreams in. I heard it's best to write down the important things first like, where you were, who was in your dream, anything out of the ordinary that happened, then go into explaining what actually happened in the dream.
