My First LD Already!!

I've only been trying for a few days now and I had my first LD last night!! It was a very viviid dream and I realized that I was dreaming. I,then, slowly felt myself starting to wake, so I began dream spinning until I fully returned to the dream. The only problem is that once I returned to my dream, I was quickly distracted by oddities (a weird rat/cat hybrid animal) and lost the awareness of the dream. I'm happy though that I was able to become aware in the first place and that the dream spinning technique was able to work so well for me. I'm looking forward to improving and lengthening the lucidity of my dreams. Even the little bit was quite rewarding and has definitely made me even more optimistic about all of this!!

Welcome to the site Miss. Congratulations on having your first LD that's pretty righteous. Remember the search function is pretty gnarly use it often.

Welcome to DV! Congrats on your first LD there hard to do, a few nights ago I had a LD that lasted about 10 seconds then I got distracted too. Keep trying and check out the tutorials if you havent already.

Beginnersluck I think. After my first ld it took a long time when I got my second. Just keep trying , practice makes perfect.

When I started LD'ing, I had my first LD one week after. I had three lucid dreams that night!
