The method....
1. This combines MILD with DILD.
2. Think of something right before you fall asleep. Like RIGHT before you fall asleep and tell yourself you will do a RC the very next time you see it.
3. Dream about it
4. RC
5.???
6. Profit!
I used to pick the dreams I want by doing this but I didn't know about Lucid Dreaming. Am I just wasting my time by this or do you guys think it might work?

This would be a very good technique, however there is a flaw..
For most people, if you are still able to consciously think while falling asleep, you're probably not RIGHT about to fall asleep. ;)
In the event that you do manage to think about something just as you're falling asleep, it's not likely you'll remember it even 10 seconds later, even if you stay awake for that much longer.
You're not wasting your time at all though. If it works for you, stick with it. I just don't think it would work for me.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there. The WILD technique involves carrying consciousness through sleep straight into the dream from waking reality. Therefore you can think consciously right before falling asleep (and during, and after you fall asleep), with training. This is the way I find most effective for myself.Quote:

So basically, you're asking if dream incubation of a dream sign will work? Yes, if you can incubate the dream and if you are good enough with the memory to do your RCs.
