New one here
I've noted that newbie introductions are taboo on some forums, but since this board has a section devoted to it, I might as well make one.
I'm a tenth grader from central Ohio who lives on a 1000 acre family farm that is seven miles away from the nearest town. I'm the head of my class, having been held back a year in preschool because my extremely intospective tendencies were interpreted as "socially deficient" by the testers. My kindergarten teacher even proclaimed that I was "slow and needed to be held back." Never have been without a four point my entire life. The elementary school I went to had the poorest academic scores in the tri-county area. Most students never completed a semester there, so my social skills never developed until sixth grade, when I was enrolled in an advanced placement program.
My username reflects my posting tendencies. I rarely post in discussions, and when I do, I'm often seen as an eccentric that only pops in occasionally.
I was introduced to here by poog when I caught him posting in the middle of band class (this is one of the few boards that the school can't filter.) Too bad he got himself banned. :(
I started a dream journal about a month ago, but I have trouble remembering anything but generalities, and I haven't had a recordable dream in two weeks. I'll see if I can't nick a few of my mother's ginkgo supplements before bedtime.

meh, i'll know who you are when you post so no worries there. :)
Gah! i miss poog, i hope he comes back under another name. :P
yeah a lot of people have trouble remembering the specifics but i think it all depends on when you right after you wake and remember the dream.also even if you can't even picture a scene from the dream just jot down any random feelings that came from it.there are a lot of threads here that can help you.just use the search option and you'll be on your way soon enough. :)
Also, Welcome to Dreamviews!!! :D

You sound like a cool guy.
Welcome to DV.
Do you play video games? If so, what do you play?

I don't consider myself too much of a gamer. I have a Wii, but I only play that occasionally. I anxiously await the next console Zelda title, but that's about it.
However, I've taken a particular liking to playing the Mother series through ROMs. Earthbound (Mother 2) was the first game that I've beaten without consulting a guide.

(Grr, I had an entire post but I lost it, so I'll summarize :))
Hi. I'm from Vancouver, Canada, and we also had a messed up school system where I grew up :). I'm living in Hong Kong at the moment, because my parents work overseas, and I'm currently in Grade 9. You're not the only one with a flawed academic system :P.
Anyway, good luck on your lucid dreams - I haven't had one yet, but they sound fun :).
