First LD - Really weird
Alright so, let me first off say I just heard about Lucid Dreaming no more than a week ago. I just started looking into it Friday night. I'm 15 years old (I hear some people say, age makes a difference in some ways *shrug*)
So anyways, I woke up at about 4:30 AM or so, and got up. I walked to my computer, saw that it was still on (I put it on hibernate before I went to bed, not off) and turned it off.
Jumping back into bed, I watched the news while it was practically muted and tried to fall asleep. I remember turning to my left, and at that moment is when I suppose I educed a LD.
I then waited there, for about 30 minutes trying to fall asleep. I turned to my right and got up, my TV was a tad blurry, and I didn't exactly hear it clearly but it did not really bother me.
I walked into my bathroom, and here is where the weird part comes in. I already read about dream signs/reality tests and such. I tried to turn on the light, as in flicked the switch up and the light did not turn on.
It all hit me then, little detail (I dont remember my hallway, now that I think about it), and my light not turning on. I whispered to myself with, admittedly just in awe, "I'm Lucid Dreaming..."
The SECOND I said that, I remember this strange feeling. I can not explain, how this is possible but I felt my real body shaking in real life softly. I then knew, for sure I was dreaming, like somehow I knew it was my body and not the one in my dream.
Then, my head, it started to feel like it was compacting together. Like it was caving in on itself; and at the same time my body started to cease shaking and I felt my body starting to get a paralytic feeling.
Then this happened, one of the most weirding things ever and I remember the sight perfectly. I look up in my dream, body practically paralyzed, real life and in dream and my head feeling like it's about to explode my eyes start to open.
My eyes are open in the dream, so it felt like my eyes were being torn open, but without pain. When they open fully, I sit up and look around. My TV is playing, my computer is off, all that. It was about 5:10. The entire 'episode' lasted no more than 8 seconds.
I got up, and went all paranoid around my house trying to see if I could touch everything. If all the lights would turn on, etc. *snicker*
Nevertheless, although it was scary as hell when it first happened, two hours later, I can safely say it was one of the most awesome things I ever went through in my life and I definitely want to do it again.
