So I accidently signed up not realizing that everyone here wants to have lucid dreams. I was actually trying to figure out how to stop dreaming?? Every single night for the past 9+ months I have these vivid dreams and it causes me to wake up absolutely exhausted. It's really starting to drive me crazy since they are always very eerie. I can't remember what it is like to have a peaceful sleep. Anyone know anything that can help me??

Hmm...the only advice I could give is to actually learn how to Lucid Dream (unless that what you mean-you LD too much already).You won't ever stop dreaming altogether, but you could try something to mess up your dream recall so you don't remember these dreams. You could even program yourself to dream less often, or dream less vividly.

smoke weed or drink before sleep lol sounds awfull about it will kill your dream recall
^I have to agree with the smoking pot thing....though I'm not advocating it, but it will totally zonk you out and you will not remember your dreams.
Or just try to do some exercising first thing when you wake up and then right before you go to sleep at night.
Try to focus on a place you would love to go on vacation while you're trying to fall asleep, and do it every night, even during the day while your awake, just keep using the same image to "distract" your mind.
