      Can they do that?

I'm new to the forum and Lucid Dreaming. . I'm filled with questions. Most I will try and answer myself. Searching posts, educating myself through what means I can find. My burning question, how do I keep people out of my dreams? Its been happening for months. It took me a while to figure out they wernt part of my dream, but actual people. Invaders. Their influence is not positive. They try entice anger or lust. Pushing, like testing me. Again, olesse. How do I keep them out? Or am I completely of base in my thinking?

You can try not paying attention to them.. This is if what your saying doesn't exists. Some people believe in shared dreaming. Many don't believe in shared dreaming thus making them part of your imagination. Those who do will say it's real people dream walking.

I am one of those who doesn't believe it. So I would just ignore it. It takes your attention to exist.

" I am moving this to beyond dreaming, you will likely get more responses there."
if you can read this then you are about to be punched

Personally, I think you're off base with your thinking. Especially if you are considering these lucid dreams but simultaneously think that people are invading your head at night. That's my opinion, and if you'd like advice on dealing with aggressive dream characters I can provide that and links. But, if you'd actually like to address dream stalkers, then I can move this to Beyond Dreaming for you, just let me know.

Dream sharing has not been proven to exist. At best, I think you're just giving your dream characters too much credit. They can't harm you. It's just a dream. You're in control, no one else. If you want tips to fight them in-dream, go to the dream control sub-forum.

I agree with Daniel, I'm pretty you're talking about dream sharing, which may or may not be possible. I'm unsure whether it is or not, but if it were, I doubt that anyone would have enough knowledge about dream sharing to do it, and if they did, the chance isn't great that they would be someone who knows you and dislikes you enough to harm you mentally.
But as for the negative experience you get during your dreams, maybe you should try to change your attitude during real life? How you feel during the day affects what you dream at night(unless you're lucid, which would help you even more).

I have never been so happy to be wrong! It's unnerving to think people can get into you're head and dreams. Thank you all for the reply. For some reason I'm getting an error message when I try to quick reply or I would have separately thanked you.

I'm glad you've gotten consolation, dreaming shouldn't be a negative thing
