Question is this my dream body or my physical body?

this morning, after a failed WILD attempt, and after the non-lucid dream which followed, i was on my couch, under the covers (that's how i sleep most of the time). each time i breathed in, i would feel like rapidly vibrating (more like shaking), which felt like i moved back and forth 2 inches when i vibrated. during this event, in my vision, there was a sign, that had text that i couldn't read. there was no sound associated with this event. do you think this was my dream body vibrating? or was it my physical body vibrating?

also, do you think that that was a dream about to form, or was it just HI? do you think i could have performed a DEILD at that point?

EDIT: at 11:09 PM around 50 seconds into the minute, i heard a loud, almost sneezing like noise coming from my left ear for one second. this was during while i was trying to WILD, and my body was starting to feel weird. when it happenned, i said "holy shit!" amd got up and typed this. is this part of SP or just a coincidence? got to go.

I have never had a WILD, but this certainly sounds like SP. When your body falls asleep and your brain is still awake, you should hear noises that sound like they are right there, also your body will feel strange movements and you should start seeing images apear. So this sounds like yeah, you were succeeding in a WILD. Best thing to do is be ready for it and let all that wierdness come, just remember that it is all in your head.

just one thing. when you hear those things, is it like you hear them from your actual ear, or your "mind's ear"?

For me (and some others, though don't know if it is like this for everyone) it sounds like you are hearing it with your real ears, but it is in fact just your imagination. Though it still makes me jump, so I never can finish a WILD. (Though I have only gotten close to this state two times)

Most likely it was you in SP, with Hypnagogic Imagery (spelling...?). During SP there's noises like that, usually loud and startling, like banging on walls, or screaming in the next room. But it's just your mind, unless you have really crazy neighbors/roommates/family members who decided to wake you up when you were trying to WILD (how rude!).

yeah that sucks. i jump too. but not as much as when something actually happens (that's not related to my brain). i guess any movement can spoil a WILD.
