Before I go to sleep I say "I will remember my dreams" or "I will have a lucid dream" etc. |

if you can read this then you are about to be punched
Reality checks such as these are exactly what you're looking for. If you tend to be unsure as to whether or not your dreaming, try what hellohihello suggested. There's also a Reality Check tutorial that you can check out which has a lot more ideas. |

thats really weird but i think that you will know it if u are dreaming, like if u lay on your bed at night and then when you wake up you remember that you were in a war in a far place! well that cannot be a real thing , and if you remember your dreams pretty good , you will know that you are dreaming from a few things like if you changed your place suddenly or the time has changed suddenly in your dream, if you were in another place that you slept in ....etc. i dnt know sth like that.. |

Not always. It's one thing to dream of a great battle and wake up, but another to dream of walking around your house and waking up. I've had at least one false awakening where I wrote the previous dream down in my DJ and went back to sleep, only to find out that I'd dreamed writing it down and had nothing about the previous dream written down. That's why I suggest developing the habit of reality checking whenever you wake up. |

Start with 10-20 minutes before you usually wake up and you should wake up while you're dreaming, making it easier to recall. You may have to experiment with what times to set your alarm clock, so if you find waking at one time doesn't work, adjust your alarm 10-20 minutes. |
