Helloooo people. I have been interested in lucid dreaming for a long time and I have been reading this site for a while now. I finally made an account! :banana:
Anyway, I was wondering, how do you preform a reality check during a dream if you are not LUCID to do it???
I have a dream every time i fall asleep and i always notice strange, out of place things but i cant really "notice" it and "think" about it during the dream!

This may not be 100% correct, but if you do reality checks during the day your brain will carry it over into your dream but if you do random checks then the checks in your dreams will be random.
In waking life, do a reality check when you see something out of the ordinary then when you are dreaming and it isn't normal then you brain will think to do a reality check.
Also make sure you keep a DJ, then find your dream sign then do a rc when u see that.
You perform reality checks in dreams by making it a habit to do them in real life when strange things happen. Therefore the habit will carry over and hopefully you'll get lucid. You don't need to be lucid in the first place to do a reality check, because the RC is what makes you lucid.
You have to RC during the day and Rcing must become part of your waking life. Otherwise you can't expect to RC when you dream. Correct?

Reality checking also causes you to become more aware and conscious overall of what's going on in the world around you. By practicing and training yourself to become very aware all of the time and suspicious of whether or not you are in a dream or reality, you will be more aware in your dreams and when strange things do happen, you'll start to very consciously question them, then either realize it's because you are dreaming and you'll be lucid, or realize you should do a reality check, which then shows you you are dreaming and will make you lucid
