Beginner's luck

Yesterday I decided that I would put alot of effort into LDing, after a couple failed attempts in the past 2 years, and spent most of the evening reading some tutorials on here, and LaBourge, before I went to sleep.

I decided that I would try and wake up at the end of one my later sleep cycles, and use a WILD technique, so I set my alarm for around 5am.

However I woke up out of my first dream, around 2 hours after I went to sleep, and was able to recall better than ever before. I was amazed that I had so much control over when I woke up in the night, but I didn't actually manage to WILD.

This happened several times in the night, waking after each sleep cycle.

Am I gifted??

I'm not sure if I'd say you were gifted, this sounds completely random to me. Anyway, congrats on the ld and welcome to dream views :)

I wouldn't say you were gifted... It just looks like you put a lot of effort into it.

Good job on sticking to it. If everyone put a lot of time reading about dreams, and reading the tutorials, the dream journal section would explode.

Cool. I'd say this was caused by your newfound excitement towards lucid dreaming.

I hope you wrote those dreams down.
