Wild And Deild
hello! I have two questions:
1)when I want to WILD, I have a little problem..emmm....I never reach HI...
But what I really want to know is that, when I start to slowly, lose conscious(I mean, my mind thinks, random) it is a good sign?
I'm happy that I don't have problems with relaxing and that, I practiced(never achieved totally WILD, even never reached HI) a lot, but the point is that I never reach HI.
My technique of relaxation is counting, because it let me know when I stop counting, or when I jump to another number...
so, my question is, when I start to think randomly, when my mind start to lose conscious, ¿Do I have to keep counting, no matter what?
Consider that losing conscious, for me, means stop counting.
it is right?
2)
When I wake up in midnight, randomly, my mind comes too conscious, or too awake, to try DEILD...¿how can I do to avoid this?
thank you! for your time!!
bye!

(1) Read about Attention Switching and Transition.
(2) The easiest way to keep your mind less conscious is to wake up slower.
I find waking up in the morning usually a pretty effective time to DEILD. Even if it is only for five or ten minutes.

hi delphinus, thanks for responses...
about 1), That didn't really clear my doubts...
I think I'm not understanding something...
hypnagogic images appear in the back of my eyelids...or in my brain's imagination?
I read the link you gave me, but it speaks about focusing on HI...And I NEVER REACH HI...
about 2), I don't even get out of bed, I don't do anything..
just open my eyes....
and, only opening my eyes, I become very conscious, If I try Deild, or WILD, or something...nothing happens.
bye!

Sorry I didn't respond until now.
Hypnagogic Hallucinations are created by the brain. So yes, it is like imagination.
When you wake up so suddenly, like I do on occasion, you could then try to WILD. DEILDs normally require a sleepy mind, but a WILD can be accomplished with an awake mind.
To get to HH, you need to be in Sleep Paralysis first. Have you done that?
