I'm new to the whole lucid dreaming scene - I can barely remember my own dreams from last night. I'm a late sleeper and a teenager, which probably hurts my chances of being able to lucid, but still, it's worth a try, :)

If you are a late sleeper,Just try to sleep with more duration time
e.g. You sleep at 2AM,just sleep until 11 AM,especially when holidays...
Taking a Nap is working to....
Welcome to DV, TheLonging :)
Not getting enough sleep will probably hurt your chances of becoming lucid. Also, the longer you sleep, the longer your REM periods become and the more likely you'll be to recall your dreams, or at least the last one you had.
Keeping a dream journal will help with your recall. The more you get into the habit of writing your dreams down, the more you'll remember and the more details you will recall and take note of.
If you haven't already, I'd recommend taking a look at the Tutorials sub-forum to give you some more general information. It introduces a number of general induction techniques and gives some good tips and tricks to help you become lucid. Other than that, let us know if there's anything we can do :)
Best of luck!

As long as you get a good chunck of sleep each night, you should be able to get lucid. Do you get to sleep in all day on weekends? Mornings like that are awesome for dreaming.
If you have any questions, feel free to post them or send a PM :)
Don't worry TheLonging, being a teenager will not affect how you LD.
Oh, and also, welcome to DreamViews :D

I sleep as much as possible on pretty much every day, weekends or school days. That's probably why I cut back on sleeping at night... it's 1:46 AM here, I think I better get some sleep <_<
I've read the tutorials things and I'm keeping a dream journal, starting tomorrow when I can acquire one that isn't half used :P
Use phone or anything like that (digital)
This whole thing is harder then I thought... at least I could recall my dreams, there's a start.
it gets easier by time
IT'll get easier, anyone can lucid dream, regardless of your sleep schedule. Just read the tutorial on Dream Signs and Dream Recall and that should help you.
