PS: i am not really good at writing lucid dreams so pardon me :D
Intro:
It was around 2am when i fell alseep during last night when i experience my first lucid dream. Here's how my usual sleep process will go , i will try my luck first at WILD but it always fail. However that night , i didn't try WILD but instead just went to sleep naturally which i haven't did for a long time.I woke up at around 8pm so my lucid dream occur from 2am to 8pm.Also i haven't been reading
lucid dreaming nor writing my dream journal because i read from somewhere that natural lucid dreamers who read on other fail experiences tend to fail themselves.And i consider my dream recalling skills moderately good.But my problem was no matter how wierd my dream was i never could realize it!
Here is how it goes:
At the start of the dream , i was walking towards my bathroom to wash up at home , a false awakening. I reached the entrance and to my surprise i saw my Dad wearing a dark blue cap brushing his teeth ( he rarely wears one and he always use the master bed rooms one's) It was just too wierd for me to comprehend and i asked myself am i dreaming?????. SNAP i knew i was dreaming without a doubt! I tried to scream with alot of excitement in me : I AM LUCID DREAMING!! but it came out as a soft and breathless voice. I tried again a couple of times and still it's still the same.I began recalling all the things to sustain a lucid dream. I try to feel the door knobs and walls of the bathroom , wow feels so real! While touching my way out of the bedroom , the living room was gloomy and dark (i am scared of dark) so i said "on light" in my mind while closing my eyes for a second.The whole room was lit up when i opened up my eyes. It happens that there is a window in my living room which i can see through my neighbour's house and the ceiling lamp there was off , i did the same thing to light it up. Having not going into my new neighbour's house before , i decided to take a look inside. While making the trip out , i was thinking to myself i better keep this dream alive!! so i started repeating to myself i am dreaming i am dreaming inside my mind ( i should have thought of spinning!) If i can remember it was night in my lucid dream. Then i did another reality check by counter the fingers on my hands , amazingly i did it several times and it was always 5 ! LOl!
Walking down the common area to my neighbour's door ( i live in a condominium) , i can't remember if the door was open or closed but i had the feeling that i can open it! Wierrd was while in this dream i can't remember doing minor stuffs like first Opening the door of my house to go out OR I JUST CANT REMEMBER ABOUT IT , it seems like i can just skip straightforward to the scene i am looking foward to! Ok , so then i manage to go inside my neighbour's house i saw the dad and 2 kids(cant rmb if its girl or boy) watching a korean show ( the family is japanese) at the living room. The living room is well litted with a warm light. I went to the next room and saw their mom with other older woman. I thought i seen enough and decided to try to fly. I can't rmb from where i took off but i can rmb that the place was a staircase where there is a big open hole where it leads to a mountain.( It is a real place i visited in a hotel of Cameron highland ,Malaysia)
Recalling people who posted here saying how they failed at flying , i decided to fly with the aid of a blowing wind as suggested by some users here. BAM huge wind blowing behind my back and i was lifted up the sky woooooooooooooosh! seeing the great scenery of green lushy mountains it was a super eye candy i felt great looking at it.( i felt quite accomplished at that time being able to fly at first try) The air was cold like high up in the mountains. Flying a couple of rounds , i began to drop down slowly as i forgot to use the wind to aid me in flying Woooosh and i was up again. Then i decided to take a look at the place down and descended down to a sandy,barren place and with a couple of abandon stuffs like barrel , litters. Throughout the dream i think my dad or someone of my family was following my except when i was flying.
At land , i spotted somekind of wierd looking animal which has big size capsule shape . ( From here my dream was becoming more vague and where my dream ended) Then i think the animals started coming towards me and my dad and suddenly transforming to small light brown coloured monkeys. I think they was attacking me or something , i cant rmb it properly as the dream was vague. It is all i can remember here. I think throughout the dream i was reminding myself it was a dream but i guess it wasn't effective enough! This dream was quite unexpected BUT before falling sleep i had the feeling i was going to lucid dream. Like how when i was young i would shape my dreams before sleeping and it most of the time happen how i wanted it to be!
Overall i think my dream wasn't as detailed as i expected a LD would be as i could remember like only something of my main focus is brought up in detailed and the rest is in a blur motion. Hopefully more LDs will be coming my way. :banana:
added: My dream sign is the toilet LOl does anyone has the same sign as me?
