Hey everyone! I'm new here, but not new to lucid dreaming. I have a dream journal and remember about 2 dreams a night vividly. I've only had 4 DILDs in my entire life and no MILD, WILD, etc. So I was wondering what you would suggest I do now. I've tried to WILD, tried telling myself before bed that I will lucid, and even tried FILD but nothing seems to work. I have done a few WBTBs but they only add vividness. What should i do now?
continue on DILD:s and later start WILD:ing DILD is the most simplest for beginners and so practise it

Does anyone know any tips for remembering to do reality checks? I do them sometimes but only when it crosses my mind, which is a very rare occasion. I usually just do the hand check but I've started doing the nose one since the hand check failed me once.
Try writting Rc on your hand, everytime you see it do a reality check

You could also keep a slip of paper in your pocket that says, 'do a reality check', or you could use a timer on a wrist watch that goes off every hour. The beep will be your cue to do a check. Or you could do a check every time you check the time. I do this one because I'm in school and I pass lots of clocks in the hallway or if I'm using the computer. There are also several clocks in my house. I hope these few suggestions help. Or you could just make up your mind that whenever you see a particular item or hear something you will do a check. Mine is checking the time, it's just about automatic now. Also, you can write it on your books, post signs in your house, etc.
Just to "sum it up":
Use a constant timer on a wrist watch
Post signs on your possessions or around your house (where you'll likely to see them) :)
Everytime you check the time
Everytime you do a specific action
Keep a slip of paper in your pocket
Or you could just write it on your hand, I liked that idea too. Hope this helps!
