Finally had my first lucid dream!...

First off, I'm Craig and I'm new here as of yesterday. I found this forum through some Google search with the goal of finding ways to become lucid.
This has been a major goal of mine for the past 3 weeks or so, for the first week+ I wasn't able to even recall any dreams, let alone become lucid. I became a fan of the Reece Jones videos on YouTube, setup my phone to remind me to do reality checks through out the day as well as other random tips I've found scattered on the net. I kept trying, keeping my little digital recorder by my bed every night. Last Thursday, the flood gates opened, I don't know what I did differently, but I was able to start recalling my dreams every single night since then, sometimes multiple dreams a night. Yesterday I found this forum and did some reading, and last night... BAM! During one part of a dream, I became lucid for about 30 seconds to a minute, went from a bathroom (where I realized I was dreaming) to pitch black to being a store clerk in what seemed like a Blockbuster, but I knew I was dreaming! I did wake up though... I got way too excited.
Non the less, I am extremely happy today, I feel like I'm making pretty good progress. So even though this is my first post and I haven't actually spent a great deal of time surfing the forum yet, I still have to thank you. What's the chances of my first visit here not having anything to do with invoking my first lucid dream that very night? Yeeaaah... not much. So... Thank You! :D:bowdown::boogie:
