I had a couple of DILD's but everytime i find out that im lucid i get a sudden rush of adrenaline and wake myself up. I mean i don't try to, once i get lucid i try to calm myself but do you guys have any tips?

anyone? like should immediately try to spin around or rub my hands together?

Just keep trying, the only way to be less excited is to be used to it, you'll have a few lucids where you wake up right away, but then they're slowly get longer and longer. Also, try deep breathing, that calms you down.
I agree with Ninja, the more lucids you have, the better you will be at controlling your emotions. Another tip is to continue what you were doing in the dream before you became lucid. That's always a great way of grounding yourself into the ld.
I'm not an expert but I've heard other people say that they just let themselves wake up, then reenter via DEILD

True, on top of what the Cusp said: make it something that gives you a great deal of tactile input. Touch things that are rough, taste things.
Hi i am new here and dont know much about techniques but if you make yourself feel giddy in the head,sort of like drunk giddy, when you feel the break coming,it can keep you in.
Also if you have come to a sudden awake, clench your back teeth together on and off in a rhythmic pattern and this can take you back to a drifting state.
