Hi, new to forum but not dreams.
Hi all,
It has only been the last few days that i have been looking into my dreams, what i feel is a strange condition / gift i have, that i see things in my dreams. What i mean by seeing things is things / information that i shouldn't know, have know way of knowing. Stuff about people, their lives etc. These dreams don't happen often but i know about them when i wake up because the dreams remains in my brain like a head ache, they are extremely clear, as clear as a DVD movie the detail is so clear. Prior to this i just thought it was a good trick. Sometimes i have had a dream that i know i have had but only remember extremely small part of but spend the next few days with snippets flashing up and an overwhelming feeling of dread that something bad is going to happen, these i don't understand well.
I have only started looking into this as i have a friend who genuinely believes she speaks with spirits so i thought maybe i have something, but being a big macho man i haven't told to many people about this. To afraid of being labeled a nutcase.
I also naturally have lucid dreams and have so for many years, i am now 38 and of the top of my head have probably been having them from around the age of 10 years old. I can also wake and go back into at least 50% of dreams, so if /when i wake up i can realize / remember what the dreams is about and go back into the dream i have just had and go back into it about 50% of the dreams. All my dreams are in color, i often remember details like smell or what something tasted like but not that it actually happened in the dream but as a attachment to the dream.
When i was younger i was able to and possibly still able to think strongly of someone before going to sleep and then dream about them.
I have also had Hypnogogic Hallucinations wear i have come out of a dream where i am wake / start to realize that i am sitting on the edge of the bed having a conversation with some one in the room when i wake i look around realize what is happening and absolutely have to finish what i am saying. I cannot stop myself from finishing my story or sentence them i go back to sleep. This hasn't happen for some time and is less often but still happen, i usually get woken by my wife were in the past when i was younger i had no one to stop me and would the whole way.
I have lots of dream mostly one a night sometime 2 or more. If i am not dreaming it points out that something is out of wack with my body. If i am stressed i have strong or weird / nonsense dreams.
I hope i can find stuff on this forum that gives me some understanding of what is going on in my head.
