Waking up from a dream
In the event of a bad trip, an uncontrolable nightmare, or simply wanting the dream to end, do any of you have any techniques to simply wake up, or end the dream? I've never had a lucid dream, but given my track record with bad tripping on drugs, and general paranoia, I would rather know that there is a way to put an end to any problems that may arise.

From my childood I had these nightmares. When I was a little boy I just was telling myself - " turning this TV program to another one and ... everything was fine. When I became older I found another way - I was trying to screem and put all my energy to wake-up, it was stressful, but worked. Now I know that there is no scary dreams, there is always messages about my condition or what will happened in my life. I do not afraid anymore (at least not like before), but trying to analize what's going on and where it will lead in my life. And now I have lots of dreams that predict my life.
Do not afraid but learn, learn, learn

if you are lucid, just die. Jump off a cliff, you will wake up. Some people see credits...not even kidding. Seriously, I'm not.

It's too easy to wake up from a lucid. Don't worry about not being able to wake up. In fact, you'll likely have the opposite problem, waking up when you don't want to.

I remember in one of my dreams I was running away from vampires, but there were too many of them and of cuase I was scared. It was a looooong dream. Finally I tired to be scared and just stopped run away and just look at that guys and they stopped chasing me too. In my head were words - "Stupid situation, right?" and I woke up. I guess that every dream can be explained like mine: there is lots of silly fears in our life. Keep yourself under control and they disappear. Now I do not afraid to be in nightmare they are giving me lots of information about my life.
